Alanya · Dim River · the Taurus foothills
Alanya Jeep Safari 4x4
An open-top 4x4 day that starts at your Alanya hotel and climbs into the pine-scented Taurus slopes behind the coast, past orange groves and banana plantations and straight through the Dim where the track fords it, with photo stops at a waterfall and the turquoise Dim Dam. Midday brings a village with its two mosques and a village house, then lunch at a riverside restaurant and a swim stop before the drive back. The hotel transfer is in the fare; the fare is paid on the day.

The short answers
- What is the Alanya jeep safari 4x4?
- A day in open-top 4x4s from Alanya into the Taurus slopes — the operator runs 15 Land Rover Defenders, each with a professional driver. On the way up the jeeps pass orange groves and banana plantations, drive through the Dim at the crossings and stop for photos at a waterfall and the turquoise Dim Dam. Late morning you swim in the Dim River or visit the Dim Cave; at midday come a village with its mosques and a village house, and lunch at a riverside restaurant; a swim stop follows. The tour runs 10:00–15:00, about 8 hours from hotel to hotel.
- Do you collect me from my hotel?
- Yes — any hotel from Okurcalar to Kestel, the Alanya centre included, with the transfer in the fare. Your time is confirmed the day before. Mahmutlar and Kargıcak are on request. See every area we collect from.
- What does €25 include?
- The whole 4x4 day, driver included; your hotel pickup and the return; lunch at the riverside restaurant on the Dim; guidance through the day; and the operator's local travel insurance. Not in it: drinks, the Dim Cave if you choose it, the photos and video.
- What do children pay?
- €13 for a child aged 4 to 8; a child under 4 rides free. From 9 up, the fare is €25.
- What time does it start?
- Pickup runs from 08:00 to 09:15 across the belt; your hotel's exact time is sent the day before by phone or WhatsApp. After a briefing the tour starts at 10:00, and the jeeps head back to the hotels at 15:00.
- When does it run?
- Daily, April to November. Outside those months the form refuses the date; write to us on WhatsApp instead and we will ask the operator.
- Is the Dim Cave included?
- No. The Dim Cave is the late-morning option for those who want it, chosen instead of the swim in the Dim River, and its entrance fee is extra, paid at the cave.
- Will I get wet?
- In summer, yes — the jeeps throw water at each other on the way, and the day has its swims. Bring swimwear and a towel; something dry to change into and a waterproof pouch for the phone are worth packing too.
- How do I pay?
- Not online, and not in advance. You reserve here and hand the euros to the team that collects you on the morning. Cancelling is free up to 48 hours before.
- How do I book?
- Choose a date, say how many of you there are, find your hotel in the list, leave a phone number. A reference appears at once; an e-mail address gets you a written confirmation too. Book now.
Before you book
Settled now, settled later
What the fare covers, what can only be confirmed once you have booked, and how the money changes hands — three lists, none of them promising anything the operator has not.
In the price

- Pickup at your hotel and the drive back, anywhere between Okurcalar and Kestel

Confirmed after booking
- Your pickup time. Somewhere between 08:00 and 09:15, depending on where your hotel sits on the belt; the exact time is sent the day before, by phone or WhatsApp.
- The programme on the day. Briefing from 09:30, the tour from 10:00 to 15:00 in the operator's order; the driver runs the detail.
- River or cave. In the late morning you choose a swim in the Dim River or the Dim Cave. The cave's fee is extra and settled there.
How the money works

- Euros on the day, handed to the team at the jeep. The site takes no payment.
- No charge to cancel, as long as 48 hours remain before departure.
- Children aged 4 to 8 pay €13; under 4 ride free.

Guides
Plan the day, decide, find your area
Short guides drawn from what the operator has on record: the day's content, who will enjoy it, how it stacks up, and our pickup area.
Guides
Plan the day
- The day, station by station The eight stations from the 08:00–09:15 pickup to the 15:00 return, what happens at each, and what costs extra.
- How booking works Four steps and no card, with euros paid on the morning; what arrives at once, what comes the day before, how to cancel.
- When it runs: April to November The season, what summer and the shoulder months change about the day, and what to do about a winter date.
- What to wear and bring The operator's own list for a dusty, wet 4x4 day — swimwear, a towel, sports shoes or sandals — and what to seal away.
- Lunch and the swim The riverside restaurant on the Dim, what is included at the table, and where the day's swims fall.
- The water fights How the summer convoys use water, who ends up wet, and how to keep a phone dry.
Guides
Who it suits
- With children The child fare, who rides free, what the open jeep and the tracks ask of a small child, and the swim.
- For couples A shared jeep, a swim, a riverside lunch: what the day is like for two, without the group pretending to be a private tour.
- For groups Up to twenty guests per booking, more on request, the whole convoy if you are many: how a group day is arranged.
- Is it safe? Professional drivers, open jeeps, bumpy tracks: what the record says, and who should ask a doctor first.
- Your first jeep safari What first-timers, nervous passengers and older guests should know before the morning pickup.
Guides
Compare and decide
- The off-road part Where the asphalt ends above Alanya, what the Land Rover Defenders do on the Taurus tracks and in the Dim crossings, and why nobody drives but the driver.
- The Dim River The river the day is built around: the crossings and the dam, the late-morning swim, lunch at a riverside restaurant, the afternoon swim stop.
- The Dim Cave stop The late-morning option instead of the river swim, an extra fee paid at the cave: what we know about it, and what we do not.
- 4x4 jeep, quad or buggy? You ride in the jeep; you drive the quad or the buggy. Which day suits which guest, with the sister site for the other.
- Jeep day or boat day? Hills, river and dust, or a boat deck and open sea: where the two Alanya days part ways, and how one week can hold both.
