The Alanya Jeep Safari 4x4 with Children
What a child pays, who rides free, and what the day asks of a small passenger: the open jeep, the shaking, the water, the swim.
Short answer
Children aged 4 to 8 pay €13; anyone younger than 4 rides free. Children travel with an adult in the same jeep. The day is a family day by design — the water fights and the swim are its high points for them — but it is also long, dusty and shaken, so a very small child needs a parent's lap and a parent's judgement.
The rows, and what they mean
The booking form charges by age row, exactly as the operator records it: everyone aged 9 and over at €25, children aged 4 to 8 at €13, and no charge for a child under 4. Every booking needs at least one guest in the full-fare row; children do not travel alone.
What the day asks of a child
- About 8 hours away from the hotel, in an open jeep, in the sun.
- Rough tracks: the jeep shakes, and a child who hates that will not be talked out of it halfway up a mountain.
- Water: the jeeps drive through the Dim at the crossings, in summer the convoys soak each other, and the swims are cold river water.
- Dust on everything, including the snack you packed.
What makes it work
Swimwear under the clothes, a towel, sports shoes or sandals and sun cream before the pickup; a hat that stays on, a sealed pouch for your phone and a change for after the swim are worth adding. The packing list is written for exactly this. Lunch at the riverside restaurant is in the fare; tell us in the notes about a child's dietary need and we pass it on.
