Alanya Jeep Safari 4x4 or a Boat Trip: Which Day?
Two very different Alanya days from the same agency. Which one is yours depends on what you want to be covered in by the afternoon: dust or salt.
Short answer
The 4x4 jeep day goes inland — the Taurus slopes, stone tracks, a swim in the Dim River, a village, lunch by the water — for €25 with lunch. A boat day stays on the sea: a deck, swim stops in bays, sold on our sister site alanyaboattrips.com. Choose the jeep for mountains and a cold river; the boat for sun and salt water. Many guests do one of each.
What the jeep day gives you
Movement and ground: the climb into the pine-scented Taurus, the shaking of the tracks, a village and its mosques, a swim in water that is cold even in August, lunch at a riverside restaurant. About 8 hours, mostly in an open jeep, with dust on everything by lunch.
What a boat day gives you
Stillness and water: a deck, the coast seen from the sea, swim stops in bays, the sun all day.
